A family with seven people stay for a month. They send us some kind words which we very
much appreciate!
This charming couple was always bubbling with fun and very friendly and outgoing to everyone they met.
Staying 2 weeks in the flat they had lots of opportunity to get a real feel for "Kona Town".
They had fishing poles and loved to go fishing right from the seawall and shorelines right down in Kailua
-- with quiet a bit of luck from what we could see!
We were really tickled by the caricature/note they left for us that we discovered when we went in to clean
after their departure.
My money is that it was Valentina that drew it (what do you think)!
Victor and Valentina followed up with us after seeing their spot on the Kona
Comfort Vacation Rental website -- and "yes", the drawing was made by
Valentina "but the idea was Victor's" he points out and he wants 1/2 the credit.
They used squid as bait. The fishing rods -- you can get similar at Costco for
about $35 and it includes the pole, reel and a gear kit.
