Yes Geckos are often everywhere... although being in an oven is a new one on
me.
When we have stayed at this house they seem to gather when you are sitting to
read in the morning. We used to have a couple that would come by when we
would sit and drink our morning coffee -- and we would put a small drop of jelly or
honey out and they would come and lap at it and look at us as much as we at
them.
Definitely you have "regulars" that repeat their habits each day -- I guess that
would also apply to if they hung out in an oven!
If you really want to "watch out for them" -- check where they may be located
when you close a door or window -- look in the door frame or the tracks of your
doors and windows!
